Jane R. Miles

Jane R. Miles’s debut psychological thriller Stay Buried, was published in July 2026 by HQ Books, an imprint of HarperCollins Australia.

Born in the suburbs of Perth, Western Australia, Jane joined the Royal Australian Navy at twenty, travelling the world before working in top-secret roles within the Department of Defence.

She rediscovered her love of fiction writing during Melbourne’s lockdowns, and now lives in the Netherlands with her wife, and their Australian-born cat.

Jane is fascinated by the quiet darkness found in nature, and within us all.
