Kai Spellmeier

Kai Spellmeier grew up in Germany, studied Literature in Berlin and Edinburgh, and now lives in the UK. He has been blogging about books on Instagram since 2016 (@kaispellmeier) and has also published YA novels and non-fiction in German.

Kai’s new contemporary romance, Boy Friends, which recently sold at auction to Bloomsbury, was published in May 2026 and is his English language debut.
