James Cleary

James Cleary, a native of Long Island, NY, is a playwriter, author and actor.  James is a recipient of the National Endowment for the Arts Literature Fellowship for Fiction. He is a member of The Dramatists Guild and Actors Equity Association.

James’s high-concept thriller Sanctuary sold in a significant pre-empt to Berkeley, PRH US; to HQ Harper Collins UK and publishers in Germany, France and Italy. Sanctuary publishes in 2026.
