Dominic Yoboue is a children’s author and teacher based in South London. He writes middle-grade fiction, often blending humour, tension and emotional truth with a strong sense of place. Growing up in South London, Dominic drifted away from reading – something he now recognises in many of the children he teaches. That experience shapes his work, driving him to create stories that feel immediate, relatable and impossible to put down. He is passionate about writing bold, character-led adventures that invite children back into reading and allow them to see themselves at the heart of the story.
